 I have been associated with City Fare, the Wilmington, DE Meals-on-Wheels Program, since 1994, first as Assistant Program Director, then Program Director, and now I contract with them several hours a week. They do very important work and can always use volunteers or donations.

 Especially since Colin's birth in 1998, we have been strong breast feeding advocates. Nursing Mothers is a wonderful organization that educates people about the tremendous benefits of nursing for both mother and child. They assign counselors (of which I am one) to new moms to answer questions and help out in any way if any nursing issues arise.
